In reply to: Kari: "Anyone familiar with Prometrium????" Hi Kari, I was on Prometrium for a while to help control cyst formation on my ovarian remnant. It did seem to help for a bit. I think I started on one pill a day and then went to two. It is supposed to fool your body, kind of like bcp's do, but in a different way. I couldn't tolerate it for long, they made me depressed.
