Confused...From: Jill (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Oct 8 13:54:57 2001
Hi There, About two weeks ago I had laparoscopic surgery for a hemorraghic cyst that was bigger than a grapefruit and had ruptured sticking to my intestines and uterus. It also caused torsion on my right tube killing my ovary. Needless to say, both my right tube and ovary were removed (I am only 24), my doctor and her partner (surgery too much for one person) noticed that I had a "few spots" of endo on my uterus, which they promptly removed. My doctor told me that I had to stay on the pill until I wanted to try to have kids. My question for you guys is, is ortho-tricyclen an okay pill to be on to help me with this endo? (I have been on it for about three months). Also, will this prevent my endo from returning? Thanks so much!
