Dear Kate, You have the "real" Wash out in front of you. God love you. You might end up on the second day the most of the time in the bathroom. Make sure that you are drinking lots of minerals!!!!(on the day before surgery drink clear vegetable sud as well, that you add the loss of minerals and vitamins as the best you can!!! Trink herbal teas as much as you can. If you don't drink enough , you might get dizzy of the loss of water in your system. I have had that kind of bowel prep three times and I have another few tip which might be any use to you. If it already hurts your tummy because of bowelmovement , don't be shy and take a painkiller before starting to drink - about 1/2 hour before - the prep can cause some more cramps as the normal bowel movement and you don't need to suffer! Eat very well before starting prep , you feel better and stronger. I havn't had much problems with the preps , but since the second time -when I took the painkillers before, I felt it much easier.

I wish you all the best and I keep my fingers crossed that everything will work out for you, as much as it did for me.
