Re: Do I have endometriosis?????From: Lauren (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Oct 4 09:50:14 2001
Dear Jenny, I am not a doctor, but It sounds just like my periods used to be, I wish I could tell you that they have become easier, but 7 laparoscopies and nine d&c's latter, they are even worse, BUT, with the help of healthy eating, good vitamin regime and physical therapy I am coping. I have three children, one of them a two year old son that is still breastfed, I own my own business, work about 10 hours a day, then it's home to cook & help my older daughters with homework etc. So, you see, you can live with endo. The key is information & knowledge. Learn all you can about it, this empowers you to help yourself. See a good gyn doc who has had expereience in endo, and ask lot's of questions. Best of luck to you.
