Dear Joyce, You can help your friend ,take the endo sites and make the two of you an good picture , what endo is. The lining is thin: means usually the uterus lining. And it means it is not prepared for a pregnacy. But she should go back to her gynea and ask her about it. The information you had got is not right.Endo is reacting very various in women.And the linings react to our cycles (usually normal) I can't actually see anything wrong with your friend in the discription you have given about her, but you're a good caring friend. So invite her to read about the desease to make her comfortable and confident as much as possible. Sybille
