Want to help my friend - have importnat questions....From: Joyce (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Sep 27 12:07:28 2001
My friend has been diagnosed with endo - however, she was told her lining is thin. I'm confused - I thought women with endo have a thicker lining. She thinks she may have gotten pregnant. I really want to support her but worry her doctor hasn't done enough for her.(I had doctors fail me with a preeclamptic pregnancy) What advice can you give her? She has a gyno - should she see a specialist? She is unsure of her cycle date. She took a pregnancy test but it was negative. She had some pink spotting the other day and it went away. I thought maybe it could be implantation spotting and told her to take another ept in a couple of days. If she does have endo and a thin lining does she need hormone treatment to save a possible pregnancy? Thanks for any advice. I think she needs a specialist.
