Hi Jamie:

I haven't ever been on Synarel, but I have been on Zoladex, which is similar. Below are some links so you can understand exactly about this treatment.

As for not waiting til next year and trying for a baby, well, it depends on you, as well as what stage your endo is. I am sure you know that a baby is not a cure for endo, but it can slow the symptoms down while you are pregnant. And the sad fact is that a lot of women who wait, may not be able to become pregnant, so you need to go over the pros and cons, write them on paper if it helps.

I'm sorry your doc says you need surgery again so soon...did he say why it seems to be progressing? Was he able to remove any of it in June, or was it mostly a diagnostic lap? These too, are important questions...ask your doc for a copy of the surgery report, too, so you can read it yourself. I know my endo came back after every surgery too, and I had to had another lap in 2 years, and then my next one 3 years after that, where it was a laparotomy, and they did a partial hyst...but it seems like 3 months is way to soon...

Anyway, search your heart for answers too, as well as your gut feelings. It is up to you to choose the next course of action, along with your doc...you don't have to do everything he tells you to...check out the links above, and hopefully they will help you to decide.

Pain-free wishes to you,

~~Marcia~~
