Re: endometriosis - depot lupron as 6-mo. trtmtFrom: Maria (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Sep 25 11:29:21 2001
I've been one the shot for approximately 6 weeks. I am feeling better although the side effects at times are horrible. I've been trying to eat to as much soy or soy based products as I can and excercise. The excercise has helped with the weight gain issue. I've managed to maintain my weight. I eat an almost no carb/very low sugar diet and it seems to help. I eat fruits (low sugar fruits) and all the veggies I want. Taking power yoga classes 2-3 times a week has also helped tremendously not only for excercise but for my mood swings. (I suffer from ADHD and depression so starting on these shots was extremly scarry for me). If you want to talk more, feel free to send me an e-mail. Good Luck! :) mis <anonymous@obgyn.net> wrote: At Sun, 23 Sep 2001, anonymous@obgyn.net wrote: > >What are your typical experiences with Depot Lupron? >Does anyone have anything good/positive to say about Depot Lupron? > >Thank you. > >-sd Hi there!! I have been on lupron for about 4 months. Life is great. I was very skeptical about it at first!! But I lived in constant pain, had 3 surgeries and still had pain, soo I decided to try it. I am sooo glad that i did. The first few weeks were rough, because of the estrogen output, but now i bearly have pain, i guess it is different for everyone!!
