The Endo Assn has uncovered links to DIOXIN...things like bleach, tampons, etc, where dioxin is present. In a colony of monkeys exposed to dioxin, a significant number of them had endometriosis. For more information, see the Endo Assn's website. There are many other theories re: endo, one of them that endo is an immune disorder, etc. There is no answer as yet. That is why it is important to support EA in its research efforts. Also to inform yourself as best as possible....reading factual, medical literature on the subject, not heresay.
