Another symptom of Endometriosis?From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Sep 12 15:00:13 2001
Hello. Before I begin, let me say, as a Canadian citizen, I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to the families of all those lost/still missing in yesterday's horrific tragedy. I cannot even begin to comprehend what EVERY American citizen must be going through...Our prayers are with you. I have had endometriosis since I was a teenager - although not officially diagnosed until I was 26 (I'm now 29). After two ectopic and three miscarriages, I finally have my twin girls - who are now 2. However, the pain has not stopped (as ALL the doctor's promised me it would) and everything is out of control again. I've had several laporoscopies and two rounds of Lupron 3.75mg. They put me back on the pill which is making absolutely no difference. I have been bleeding for 60 days straight now and my doctor doesn't seem to think that's a problem - just a minor side effect from starting the pill again. I don't know about that because the bleeding is accompanied by all of the typical stuff; you know, the diarrhea, the rank cramping that nothing will stop, the wicked moodswings, painful everything! But mostly, it's the cramping/bleeding that's getting to me. I've found that VIOXX sort of takes the edge off but, otherwise, is useless. Does anyone have any idea if this is typical of endometriosis? Please advise. Thank you.
