Samantha -Estrogen and Endo

Samantha and all, I just wanted to write real quick about estrogens role in endo. Estrogen is what "feeds" the endo and causes it to bleed each month w your period. Most treatments are focused on ovualation suppression to try to help with the growth and bleeding of the endo. As most of us know, drs usually suggest hysterectomy when we are diagnosed. In some women it helps, in some it doesn't. An interesting bit of information- endo can produce it's own estrogen to thrive on, also the liver produces estrogen. Just something else to think about I guess. I just thought that this was interesting info and wanted to pass it on. :) Take Care and God Bless, AJ
