Lauren,
I know what you mean about pain killers poisoning your system, I was on them
starting in last Feb, but the thing is my body adjust and build up a
tolerance really fast, so the narcotics they had me on weren't working so
they just kinda moved up the scale of intensness untill finally I was sent
to a pain therapist who eventually had my on a pain patch for cancer
patients. By the time I had my laporotomy, that wasn't even working, plus
she had me on all sorts of othre drugs to treat side effects........My mom
was so upset, she kept saying,"their poisoning your body." Now I've gone
through almost a month of physical and emotional withdrawls because i want
to be off of all pain killers. SO I applaud you and wish you the best of
luck....ya know heating pads really work wonders....I'm glad your back.
