Hallo kc, if you feel like crying - it is all right. But when you calm down a little bit ,take time to read. Your doc did something very all right for you.The progesteron doesn't shut you down at all, but it might reduce the heavy bleeding and endo and other symptoms. So really try it.If that will work for you , you have an mininalside-effect med. working for you.If you go back to your gynae , just ask him(her) what surgery is he(she) talking about. It is not definetly said that he(she) is talking about hysterektomie.There are lots of other surgerys possible. And get your PAP renewed in time so you do know where you are on.A suspect PAP has to be controlled-and than talk to your doc.What joices you have. But don't be affraid of it. Take care Sybille
