Misty, Hey girl, let me see if I can explain where I don't get us all confused. Going to a gyn is good if that's all you have, but you want a gyn that has specialized in Endo or at least has mucho experience with this disease. As for the specialist, you would want to find a reproductive endocronologist. Yes, RE's are for infertility, but most have experience with endo since it causes infertility. From what I understand from what other women with endo have told me is that most of the time REs will see you even if you don't want to get preg. I soo hope I'm saying all of this right. It's been a long day and my memory is getting worse and worse. Anyway, hope I helped ya some hon. Love and Prayers, AJ
