Hey guys,

this is Heather (Blue). I've been gone for a little while and I've been thinking about the forum. I've had some major happenings since I last posted. After my last lap last spring I was still having problems and my pain was getting worse. So as expected I was sent to a "pain therapist". All she ended up doing was raising my tolerance level to narcotics to where the last thing she had me on I found out was used for cancer patients wasn't even working. I went through various other tests, including trips to the GI doc ( that was a blast, let me tell ya ). When finally no answers could be found my doc agreed to a laporaotomy to look for endo on the bowel.....I had been trying to tell him this for a while. Well it turns out that there was no endo, but I had bands of adhesions on my bowel. Well the was 8/16. All they sent me home with was perocet, which never really worked anyway. But I wanted of all the drugs.....well by the end of my 1st week I was stuck in a crying spell for 12 hrs. So the stuck me on xanax, which they of course had to keep upping cause when you've been on heavy narcotics for 6 mo. most things aren't going to work.

The reason why I'm reaching out now and why I need some support is becasue I am finding myself in a chemical depression. I take prozac for depression regularly for a seritonin(sp) embalance, but this is different. I'm off all pain killers now, but I still have to take Neurotin and xanax to sleep or when I start having crying spells. I need some support and I need some suggestions to ask my drs. I see my pain thereapist this week, but she said if I wasn't in need of pain meds then don't come in, but then my obgyn said that she is the only one who can lower my tolerance.....I'm so confused.....I'm so sick of drugs and docs and everybody.

sorry for going on like this but I have no friends here and I'm all alone for 8-10 hrs a day......plus can anyone tell me how to get back on the mailing list so I can get everyone's posts?
