Dear Yen, When I had my hyst the (inexperienced) ob/gyn found it on my left ovary, my cervix and had adenomyosis. In subsequent surgery with endo specialist, it was found on/in my bowel requiring bowel resection, also rectal nodule, vaginal lesions and cul-de-sac involvement. Endo was also found on my bladder and ureters, my broad, round and utersacral ligaments and my entire peritoneum was infiltrated. I had nausea and indigestion which I attribute to the intestinal endometriosis. When I was on the pill for years I experienced morning sickness symptoms, but that may have been caused by the pill itself. I don't know on that one. My endo specialist explained that the nausea was probably caused by irritation of my colon. My lower gi system was not working well and affected my upper gi as well. I practically lived on zantac but over time that was ineffective too. I did not have any occult hernias, or diverticulitis either. I did have severe adhesions caused from 26 years of misdiagnosis, but my doctor excised those and did 2nd look lap 5 days later and again removed any recurrent adhesions. Have you thought about adhesions also. They can be as painful as the endo, and if you have both - that's a double whammy. Hope this helps some in your search for answers. your friend, suzanne
