Re: (((((YEN)))))))From: Yen (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Sep 3 01:26:28 2001
(((Hi Suzanne and All))): Suzanne, I've recently communicated with a couple of others who have shared the same success as you with your endo doc:o). Suzanne, can you please tell me once again in what locations endo was found in you, whether you required bowel/intestinal resections (if yes, how many and where -- also, what about intestinal implants), if you also had diaphragmatic endo, AND whether you experienced severe nausea and indigestion on a daily basis??? If yes to the nausea and indigestion, did it worsen with coffee consumption? What about with the bc pill -- although you probably weren't on the bc pill since having the hyst lol -- okay, did it worsen with hormone replacement if you were taking those??! Oh, almost forgot, did you also have those occult hernias which Metzger is known to repair in her endo patients (and if yes, did your endo doc repair that as well?)? Given my questions to you, that, in itself, tells you quite a bit as to how I'm doing;o). I don't know what is going on with me -- endo, IC, hernia, etc.. Pain flares if I ingest the wrong thing -- but the nausea and indigestion became a constant since a few months ago. If it weren't for Prevacid (to take care of/mask the nausea and indigestion -- though not completely, but GREAT compared to living w/o the Prevacid), twice daily, I don't know where I'd be at this point. Have gone on the doc-merry-go-round and have received some conflicting info. Would hate to have endo surgery only to find out its not endo which plagues me. I'm confused, to say the least. (((Love))), Yen
