He chose not to remove the implants because of the risk that is involved. He sent me to a GI specialist, who agreed, "at this time". He will continue follow-up with me to keep an eye on the situation. The implants are pretty much all over my large intestines. Though not large in size, the do cause a lot of burning with bowel movements. There are times that the constipation gets so bad, when I do have the urge to go (which is rare), I also get spasms in my legs, (which is caused by the intestines pressing on the nerves) and spasms in my back. The GI spec has put me on a prescription laxative, and also has had me cut back on milk products. Both have helped about 40%. At this point, I'll take anything I can get. I know, and have discussed with the GI doc, that there is a chance one day, that a section of my large intestines will be removed to prevent further spreading.

To answer your other question, I do experience a lot of nausea, throughout the day, and also indigestion, sometimes in the morning before I have eaten breakfast.
