Re: Bowel/Intestinal EndoFrom: Yen (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Aug 30 01:24:09 2001
Dear Sandy, Thank you for responding:). Did you surgeon choose not to remove the intestinal endo because he felt it too difficult/dangerous? I have often wondered whether it would be possible to remove endo implants from the intestines (small intestines in particular) w/o causing more possible problems such as obstructions/kinks in the intestines due to adhesions. I wonder whether that is why your doc chose to leave it alone? Were your implants on the front or back of the intestines? What about your sigmoid? Was that in bad shape, and, if so, did he not feel it possible to take care of it (remove it or resection if required)? Do you have particular areas where you consistently feel pain? What about a burning sensation? Do you experience nausea apart from your bowel movements? What about "indigestion"/burping regardless of whether or not you've had anything to eat or drink? Thanks for any input you can provide. Take Care, Yen
