Hi Kari, It makes me wonder about your dr for her to be upset that you are seeking support from other women who understand what you are going through. I have told all of my drs that I am subscribed to support groups and that I research any treatment that they want to give me. They have all been pretty supportive, some not so much as others. I don't see why your doctor would feel this way. And Frankly it's none of her business. It makes me mad that she would get upset over this. Please, don't feel embarrassed. No matter what your doctor says, if you like the group, stay with it, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I'm clueless as to why she would feel this way. Anyway, this might be something to find out why she's upset if you want to, but you have no reason to be embarrassed. You should be proud that you are trying to do something about your disease instead of taking no interest in it at all. It just makes me wonder what kind of dr she is. Sorry, but that kinda pissed me off lol. I hope that you are having a pain-free and happy day. Take Care and God Bless, AJ PS maybe the reason I need a prescription is because I'm in a small town??
