Presacral Neurectomy.

I've had endo since I was 16 yrs. old (I'm 20 now) I believe, but it wasn't diagnosed until last year because I couldn't find someone to do surgery until then. They just put me on one BCP after another and none of them did anything but give me side effects and make me bleed. I had a baby by c-section in April and while I was pregnant, I had relief from the 5th month until about 4 weeks after I delivered. They suspect that I have some adhesions from the incisions and they also believe my endometriosis is coming back just as bad as it was before. I was diagnosed with Allen Masters Syndrome before I got pregnant, so they're not sure that a laparoscopy could do that much for it unless things have changed. When I had my first surgery, the holes in my peritoneum (sorry if I misspelled that, I'm sure I did) were so deep that they couldn't see anything in them. My new GYN is sending me to the pain center to tide me over until he has an OR available in February. He's thinking about doing a presacral neurectomy and I'm sure some of you must have had one. Can you tell me anything about what it was like? I don't know if it's going to make my pain go away because I also have chronic sciatica from what they believe are the endo lesions because they're near my sciatic nerve. Does anyone know how this will affect future pregnancies? I'm just wondering if it means I have to have c-sections from now on. It doesn't make any difference to me because I was planning to anyway because I had a very traumatic labor experience with a lot of complications. I'm just curious. I can ask my doc the next time I see him. I was just wondering if any of you knew. He's going on L&D rotation I think for the next couple of months because I go to a clinic at the military hospital we live near and they have rotations there. And if anybody wants to suggest switching doctors to one that can get me in earlier, I really don't want to because he did my c-section and I really trust him and know he's a good surgeon. Thanks for any help you can give me. Katie.
