Awww Dont you just love the way insurance works!! lol thats supposed to be sarcastic lol. Anyway, after my drs office finally figured out that they had to order my shot it didnt take long at all to get it. I took the 3 month dose and it was $1,700 thankfully all paid for by my insurance. I was freaking out when I heard how much it was, I was like, that's more than I've paid for ALL 3 of my vehicles!!! (my bf finds GOOD deals and hes a mechanic so I'm lucky lol) The good thing with getting the monthly shots is that if you do start having side effects, then it's not left in your system to deal with for 2 more months. I don't think your bf has to worry too much. He just has to understand that it's not him that its the shot. Oooohhh my mom has been pushing me to have a hyst for about 2 years now. First she wanted me to have it when I was diagnosed with carcinoma in situ on my cervix. A long story goes with that, but I'm gonna spare ya for now lol. Anyway, after she found out that it was endo, a little over a year ago, she has pushed and pushed and pushed for it. I love my mom to death and never have spoken a harsh word to her, but she was really tempting me at this point. I had 2 aunts that had endo. Both had a hysterectomy and both were feeling better after they had it. Finally I started emailing my mom stories about women that did have hysterectomies and that still had the pain. I have explained to her over and over again that I don't want to do that right now. I want to keep my organs for as long as I can lol She finally has gotten to where she doesn't push me for it any more, she'll say it once in a while, but I just give her a look or tell her that I'm not gonna argue. I know she's just trying to help and it's killing her to see her baby in soo much pain and theres nothing she can do about it. I try to keep that in mind. :) Anyway, hmm all the problems that I've had. Do you have a few hours lol?? okay, I've had back problems for about 6 years, sciatica for 5 years, menstrual pain for 9-10 years, pain with sex for 2 years, leg pain and weakness for a little over a year I believe. I have also had rectal bleeding, shooting pain in the anus, painful bm's, pain with bladder if it's too full or whenever I urinate. Severe pelvic pain for 2 years straight. I haven't had a totally pain free day that I can remember. Most the time my pain is moderate, but right now I haven't had a period in a little over a year so I know that has helped. I have fibromyglasia, chronic fatigue immune deficincy or summen like that CFIDS, i'm wondering if I have vulvodynia(sp) also being treated for IC. Muscle and joint pain. osteoarthritis of my lower back, bulging disks. My urologist said something about my pelvic bone protruding or something like that, i'm going to get clarification on that on the 11th. I've had the dx lap, was put on provera 10-11 months right after, before that I was on the bcps and pain meds. Switched to Lupron on July 13. have been on pain meds for almost 3 years I believe. had rib pain and swelling since nov. and all kinds of GI probs. and off the top of my head that's all the problems I cna think of now. Also I've had short-term memory loss. It's been pretty bad, could be caused by the ovulation suppression or by the Lupron, not sure yet lol. if ya need any more info, let me know lol. For now I'm going cuz I about wrote a book here lol. Hope your having pain-free happy days, Take Care and God Bless, AJ
