Re: thanks for your helpFrom: Jennifer (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Aug 29 09:43:52 2001
Hi Jessica- It does not sound as if you are ready to have a hysto. so don't you cannot go back. I had one at 32 and I think it was preventable if I could have afforded to go to a specialist. It makes me mad because I am aging much faster than I thought I would. Almost a year later I have thinner skin and I still cannot have sex with my husband due to pain. The day to day pain has gone away and I am not as tired as I was before the hysto so in some ways it worked. I was ready for it though- I did not want to say goodbye to my children oen more time without knowing for sure I would be coming home. The aspect of the disease that amde me the angriest was thta it was robbing my children of their mother and that was so unfair. Do not do anything you are not 100% sure you want to do and don't let enybody pressure you into these decisions- it is not their body! Take care of yourself! Jenn
