Kari and AJ (Kindof Long)From: Lori (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Aug 28 23:58:18 2001
Wel, my DR. is going to try to get the approval from there so that they can just order it and then the company will send it straight there. I'm a military dependant and the main military hosptial here doesn't carry it but they told one of the nurses that they could order it. I wish someone would get up and do something quick b/c my insurance fiscal year is starting over on October 1, 2001. That means that I don't have to pay for anything because my cost share has capped off. And when my fiscal year starts over then I have to pay $150 for my deductable then 15% until I have met my capped cost share (out of pocket expense) then my insurance is responsable for 100% until Oct 1, 2002. You get the picture. Anyways, my Doc said he thought the one month injection was $400 and one nurse said $300 then one of the office girls (billing girl) said $700. I wish I knew for sure but if I get this before Oct. then nothing after Oct. $150 for the first one then 15% after that. Look I'm more concerned about money and my hubby is more worried about the mood swings and irriablity. My mom thinks I should just get the hystarectomy. She got her's at 30 or 37 somewhere in there. Can you too refresh my memory what your problems are? I have had back problems in my lower back since I was 19 yrs. old then I just recently got a dignosis of Endo when my doc did the laporospy in June this year. I have been on pain meds like Soma, darocet, vicoden, etc. all for my back. My GYN just started me on Vicoden a couple of weeks ago for the Endo pain. I talked to someone on here about my back pain and they suggested that I get "trigger point injections". If I can find a doc that will do them on my back then I'm going to give it a SHOT. (HAHAHA, no pun intended) Anyways, thanks for all you guy's help and I hope we can help each other through this difficult time in our lives, see as how we all are going through the same thing with the Endo and Lupron. Hope to here from you guys soon.
-- God Bless and pain free wishes to all. Lori
