Hi Jessica! Your doctor wants to use Danazol for the endo?? and by "cleaning house" he doesn't mean hystectomy, does he? I hope that he didn't because there are quite a few different treatment options out there, unless you want hysterectomy. I'm sure by now you know that there is no cure for endo. I haven't been on Danazol, but looked up some web pages for you. I have been on Provera for 10-11 months a shot a month and only had a light period with the first shot. Before that, my periods were VERY heavy and 7 days long. I was on bcps before that, but they didn't help and I started Lupron on July 13th. Please consider all of your options before deciding on one. It's best to research every option you have, because you are then informed and don't have to just trust your dr. (not that trusting your dr is a bad thing) Anyway, here are some sites about danazol. http://www.personalmd.com/drgdb/9007.htm http://www.healthanswers.com/Library/Gsm/patinfo.asp?drugid=166

Hope this helps you some. If you need anything else, feel free to email me privately. Take Care and God Bless, AJ
