An idea for awareness: writing to Lifetime Television about show Women Docs

Hi ladies,

I just got an idea that we could use for promoting awareness. I don't know how many of you have Lifetime Television but there's a show on the air now that airs Sat nites at 10 p.m. called Women Docs.

They profile 4 drs in each hour and they not only show what they do as drs but they also show us a little bit about their lives outside of the office, and their families, etc.

Any way, what I was thinking is that maybe we should suggest that they consider having some of their episodes be of some of the drs who take care of patients with endo and/or vulvodynia.

I know some don't feel comfortable with female drs (but that's not why I'm suggesting this-to debate of which gender is better) but if we can maybe use this as a way to get the word out about these conditions then it may open the door a little more about just what these can do to us.

If you want to write just go to: http://www.lifetimetv.com and click on "contact us" or something like that at the site.

Any way that's my idea.

Take care everyone,

===== Kristy :)
