Re: Need some suggestions, thanks!From: AJ (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Aug 23 15:22:15 2001
Misty, I was reading your letter and thinking that I could be writing that myself. We have alot in common just in the way we handle our emotions. The only kind of treatment I can think of that sheds the lining of the uterous is a DNC. I had this done a little over 2 years ago for a miscarriage, but they also use it to treat excessive bleeding and prolly alot of other things. You might want to check that out if that's part of the problem. I'm trying to remember everything, but having some trouble, I think all the meds have taken a toll on my mind. Also, what kind of leg pain are you having? and The doctors an idiot if she thinks that you can stay off of your feet when you have kids and a husband!! I was told to do the same thing a few weeks ago for ankle pain and swelling. She wouldnt even listen to my symptoms, said its just the time of year and I imagine you dont move around alot because of your pain. OOOOoohh I could have slapped her! lol Sometimes I wish I would have lol. Anyway, I got home and called my insurance and switched physicians. I have an appt with the new dr on the 3rd. I think he will be good. I know alot of people that go to him and know for a fact that if he doesn't know what he's doing he will send you to someone who does. He helped my grandma when she was having probs cause of cancer. But anyway, back to you. (See I get off track all the time) Is the leg pain in the front or back of your legs? I've suffered from this too and had an epidural steriod injection for it, but it didn't work. I'm thinking that if the anti-inflammatories have helped it, they may need to run some tests and see if this is right for you. Gettin it done wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, although I had some complications from it. They pricked something when they did it and I ended up with a spinal headache. It went away while I was in the hospital (its just like day surgery). A few days later it came back with a venegence and I was hospitalized. they had to go back in with the epidural and take blood from my arm and put it in my back so that the blood would clot and the place that they pricked. Anyways, I've went on long enough. I hope I've helped you in some way and if you need ANYTHING feel free to write me privately. I've got to go pick up my son from school!! lol Take Care and God Bless, AJ At Thu, 23 Aug 2001, misty wrote: > >I really try to be the strong one I guess.
