Misty, First off, youre not whining, your living with endo! It gets the best of all of us. If you don't want a hysterectomy, make your doctor understand that. If he still insists on one, find another doctor. For some women it helps, but for some it doesn't. It's a very personal decision and NOONE should try to force you into it. Have you tried Provera, Lupron, or any other med like that for it? As far as pain relievers, I find that Darvocet does not make me tired. It used to, but not anymore. See I was on OxyContin for a few months and have taken myself off of it. I quit taking pain medications altogether for about a month or so I believe. Darvocet now eases my pain and it doesn't make me tired. I can't tell you the number of times I've felt out of control. I'm a stubborn woman and it used to take alot to make me cry. (I know it's bad for me, but just how I am lol) But after having endo all this time and dealing with the constant battles we all go through I find myself crying at the smallest things. Even cried over a comercial the other night!! lol It wasnt even a sad commercial. Anyway, don't feel like you are whining, because as I said youre living with endo and any woman who can do that has the right to go on and grouch and everything else!! lol Hope this finds you pain-free and happy. Feel Free to write me personally at any time. Take Care and God Bless, AJ
