I am also third generation endo sufferer in our family, only nobody knew about endo then, I am the first one with a diagx. Unfortunatley I was oonly diagx after my two daughters were born. Luckily our third child is a boy.I think that if I knew what I know now I would at least have gone for genetic councelling. The last pregnancy we specifically tried for a boy (not 100% but it worked for us.) Myeldest daughter started menstuating last month, and I find myself watching her like a hawk, and praying that I have not passed this on to her. There is a chance that I have not, no endo on her dad's side, and although my mom & her mom had endo, my mom's sister does not. It's kind of like roulette. But I agree, we must spread the word, and educate people, we need to find a cure. It may be too late for us, but maybe our children will benifit from our work. Just a thought.
