Amanda, As far as I know the only way to really diagnose endo is thru a laparoscopy, which is a day surgery. I would consider it since I was misdiagnosed at 15, & treated incorrectly for 8 years. Also, since your mom has endo does not guarantee that you will have it ever. The pill also only controlls symptoms, not the growth of the disease, so if you do have it you should be on the right treatment plan... good luck kelly email me if you'd like lulubughill@hotmail.com
