Hello all,

Since I posted this original message, thought I would follow up. When I say that I have leg pain it is actually groin pain and inner thigh pain going down almost to my knee. But it is the inner aspect of the thigh. Not sure if this is considered sciatica. I have always heard of sciatica being in the back of the leg and going down the butt.

In April my lap revealed that one of my uterosacral (broad) ligaments was substantially shorter than the other and had endo. Dr. said he never saw anything like it and thought that it made sense that I would have so many symptoms, i.e., back pain, abdominal pain, groin pain, leg pain, labia pain, any movement caused pain. So what he did was cut right through the ligament and nerve that runs through the ligament. I am assuming that this is a LUNA. Anyhow it did help some symptoms, but the leg pain and groin pain is definately still there, especially with cycles, ovulation and excessive movement.

I did have the EMG performed and it was not the most pleasant test, but it was bearable. The doctor actually found some weakness in my left lower back and left lower leg. She said she is not sure whether these are related to the pain in the inner aspect of the thigh, that should be coming from L1, these findings were coming from L5. Don't know, very confusing. She asked if I had any questions and I told her I am all questioned out! Don't know what to do, try the Lupron, have a hyst. Well I know the hyst will not be anytime soon if I do decide to do it.

Thanks for listening, hope info about LUNA helped. Take care all,

Karen
