Hi Karen, I heard that EMGs actually hurt, from a man who'd had one done for MS, so I figured since I was in so much nerve pain before, at the time, I wasn't going to add to it. But I did learn that sciatica can be caused by endometriosis near the sciatic notch, although it's not very common. I've been to two neurologists, a orthopedist and my gyne, and a primary regular doc, and it seems nowadays that doctors don't want to even begin to address or guess on any thing outside of their "specialty", so I'm guessing that was your docs reaction too. I'm still recovering from hysterectomy 2 weeks ago, so too soon to tell if the nerve pain will be going away.
