I too have read a lot of negative things on this forum w/ respect to Lupron. I myself went through two 6-month treatments of it, with the only side-effect being hot flashes. They greatly reduced the frequency and severity of my pain, well worth the hotflashes! I now double up on the BC LoOvaral, made me sick for a while, but my body has adjusted. As for the hysterectomy, you are young and without HRT (which can help the endo continue), and with your back history, you may be putting yourself at a higher risk for osteoporosis. I hope my opinions may help you research further and make the decision that is best for you.
