Hiya. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by hrt(hormone replacement therapy?), but I am currently on Zoladex 35mg once a week. I started taking DepoProvera August of last year (1 shot every month) last shot was in June. July 13th I had my first shot of Lupron (3 month shot) and just recently had a bone density scan done and my dr told me that I had significant bone loss. So he started me on Zoladex. I'm 22 by the way. If you are concerned about bone loss, I would suggest asking your dr for a bone scan. As for taking supplements, I would suggest it if you are not meeting the suggested amount of calcium, iron, vitamin D, etc.. in your diet. We are young and the meds that they are giving us give us an extra risk of osteoporosis. That's the last thing we need on top of everything else. I hope that I have helped you in some way. Take Care and God Bless, Amanda
