Re: mid month pain?

Danielle, I'm obviously not a dr lol, but your symptoms sound like endo to me -- but don't quote me on it lol. I also experienced less pain on "period" days than the rest of the month -- but I was on the bc pill (don't know if you are). I didn't have an actual withdrawal of blood/uterine lining on my 7 day breaks (no period) -- but my endo pain was much less on those 7 day breaks, maybe it was due to the lower hormonal level. BUT the remainder of the month (bc pill days) were a living hell. And YES, the pain included not only aching but also a severe burning sensation in my lower back -- horrible. YES also to the nausea, dizziness and fatigue. One thing different about our cases is that with mine, I KNEW it was not simply pelvic pain or ovulatory pain, etc. -- my pain was SEVERE -- BUT that doesn't mean that your pain isn't endo, its probably just not yet to that degree -- your pain could get progressively worse, then again, it may not. My pain flared when I got back on the bc pill -- I guess the additional hormones just made it flare out of control. Should you pursue medical treatment/surgery for your pain, the best advice I could give you is to go to an endo specialist -- that is the most important decision you will make re professional treatment. I've found that eliminating phytoestrogens, dairy/cheese/cream,etc., eggs, excess caffeine, chocolate, etc., help to alleviate much pain -- this I learned post endo excision surgery. I used nonfat organic milk with my cereal for quite some time and didn't have too much of a problem with it, but have since switched to rice milk when I do have cereal (which hasn't been for a while). Hope this helps. Take Care.
