already have 2 children and my husband and I are done with kids. I am
on Darvocet for back pain of unknown origin. The back pain has been
with me for 7 years now. (I believe from something else other then endo
but who knows at this point.) I have had painful periods for only 5
years. I started out having my periods last heavily for 2 weeks at a
time about 3 to 4 months ago. I went to my GYN and said that I might
have PID but then the test came back a couple weeks after that saying no
I didn't. Then he scheduled a lap for possible Endo. This was on June
25th of this year. I started my period again on July 13th and still on
it (July 29th). I'm in alot of pain too. I don't know what to expect
from all this. Can someone tell me how long after the lap am I suppose
to keep having the painful periods that last a life time? Can someone
please clue me in period on what to expect from here on out? Do I have
to go have a hysterectomy? What do I do now? Do I call my doctor and
have him look at me again? I was fine for about 2 weeks after the lap on
June 25th I stopped with the pain about 5 days after the lap then fine
until the 13th of July. What do I do now? Someone please help me! By
the way, I have never had any medical problems at all except the back
pain then this. I have 3 sisters and the older 2 having cysts and then
precancerous cells, one fine now but the oldest is having pain still.
The other sister had PID in high school then she had cysts then Endo
then Cervical Cancer, she is in remission as of this moment. I'm so
scared and not looking forward a long battle. I'm tried of battles. My
oldest child is severely handicapped and has epilepsy then I have a 3
year old. I'm only 27!! Someone please help me!
