Hi,

I strongly recommend that you have both of them removed. I wish someone had told me that when I had my hyst. My right ovary was uneffected by the endo and was left in. Within a year and a half, I had an endometrioma, so I had to have that ovary removed, but they could not get all of it out. Now I have ORS (ovarian remnant syndrome) and the endo is still active. I still ovulate and have cycles.

The chances of the healthy ovary becoming effected by endo are very high.

I wish you the best with your surgery.
