Re: ADENOMYOSIS-SYMPTOMS

Hi Mindy, I also hurt worse when I sit all day... I end up squirming around in my chair a lot trying to find a comfy position that doesn't hurt. My insides feel like they need stretching so I will do some stretches, not sure it really helps but feels like it should be helping... you know what I mean?... like I have to do something for the pain... Anyway, I have a history of adhesions/scar tissue and I'm almost certain that is what is causing my pain... I have had the adhesions (they were on my colon) excised but they came back and even seem to be worse and further up my colon... but probably from the endo... My gyn had me see a physical therapist a couple of weeks ago and she gave me a couple of weird stretches to do that actually do seem to be helping a bit with the tightness, which hopefully will eventually help more with the pain.... Right now though I'm back to the point of making that grand decision... surgery or no surgery... I see my pelvic pain specialist Friday and he is going to give me his recommendation, as I've just been through all kinds of testing... My pain does seem to be much worse around ovulation time and period time... I hope your doctor is able to help you on Thursday. And I'm glad to hear you're surgery helped.
