I am reposting this message in case there are any new comers to the board or anyone returning. I was wondering if any one has /had Adenomyosis and could tell me some of the common symtoms you have experienced. Everything I read about adenomyosis doesn't sound exactly like what I am experiencing, but what else could it be?? Bowel?? Adhesions?? I am 2.5 months post op with Dr. R and my periods are abosolutely wonderful now! I am not in bed anymore for 3-4 days on pain killers. I only have heavy cramping. I can handle that! However, the pain that still exists is in the pelvic region that is dull to sharp (deep) and it intensifies as midcycle approaches. It lasts all month long. The hardest thing for me is having to sit all day at work. I am dying by the end of the day. I am going to my doctor on Thursday, but I wanted some input before I go. Not sure what it is. It could even possibly be post op pain, but it feels all too familiar. Thanks a million!
