This occurs ten days or so before my period. The pain comes and goes several times a day and wakes me up at night several times. Each episode lasts from 10 to 25 minutes or so and the pain becomes extremely intense before easing up. The pains are menstrual -like and these episodes go on for several days. My abdomen feels bloated as well. I have tried over the counter pain medications such as advil and also Midol with little relief. I also have tried the heating pad. This seems to be getting worse although sometimes I have a completely pain free period.. Whem my period actually atarts I have little or no pain. I am 49 years old. Could this be endometriosis?
