Dear Ana, I have suffered from endo since I was about 13, so I know exactly how you feel. I am now 30, and have three children, the youngest of wich is only 22 months. My daughters are 12 1/2 and almost 9.My doctor says he can't help me anymore and recomends a hysterectomy. I have dug my heels in and am going to try some lifestyle changes first. I have done LOADS of research into endo & vitamins. This is a bit of what I have learned. *A good vitamin B supplement is essential esp before and during periods, it helps to normalise your hormones. *Vitamin C - Good for fighting infections & helps to build collagen ( anti-ageing) Also blocks the ability of cancer forming agents.(some docs refer to endo as behaving in the manner of a 'benign cancer') *Vitamin A- Anti inflammatory *Vitamin E - Anti ageing, helps to oxygenate the blood. *Vitamin D - Needed for absorbption of calcium. *Calcium & Magnesium - essential for bone development, magnesium also a reputed anti - depressant. *Zinc, Linked to fertility.Building block for RNA & DNA. I now take 1000mg vit C, 1000mg Calcium,500mg Magnesium, 800iu vit E, Vit B complex supplement 1 daily, 15mg Zinc, 400mg cod liver oil, 3000iu vit A and 1x Starflower oil capsule daily. I try to walk a little each day too. I have cut out caffiene, almost all dairy, and almost all red meat. I only eat red meat once every two weeks or so.Brown and seed breads, rice, lentils and baked potatoes for starch, and PLENTY of vegetables. After a month I am already seeing a marked difference in the way I feel. The only problem my body had adjusting was my IBS flared and I had a bad bout of constipation. Apart from that all is well. I hope that this helps you. (((((Hugs))))) LAUREN
