I have sciatic pain, along with other nerve pain on my sacrum and in my hips, and it especially gets "active" during the first part of my cycle (estrogen surge). I kept thinking this was from an injury I've struggled with for over a year now, but thought I should have a laparoscopy done just to peek inside and make sure it wasn't the endo coming back (also because the pain was getting worse in "cycles"). WEll, unfortunately I have so much endo, along with both ovaries adhesioned to my back of the pelvis and also both ovaries adhered to both of my uteri (yes I have 2 uterus). I've read that sciatica can sometimes be caused by endo growing on or close to the sciatic notch too. (although it's not very common). I guess you might think about whether your pain is cyclic, with your periods. I watched mine for 3 months before I could really tell. Good luck! :)
