Re: Just diagnosedFrom: Ana (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Jun 29 10:22:46 2001
I was recently diagnosed with Endometriosis, although my doctor said it was only a guess because the only way of really knowing was by surgery. I guess i have typical symptoms of it, excruitiang pain during my period, and ovulation, lower back pain during crampin, and sometimes they get so bad i cant do anything by lie on the floor cryin until it goes away. My doctor said the only sure-fire way of treating it is major surgery. What i was wondering is, are there any life changes I can make in order to make the pain go away. I'm 22 and have had these problems since my period first came when i was 14. Now that I am aware of the problem, are there dietary changes I can make or any suggestions. All my doctor has given me are strong pain pills that knock me out for the day, which makes me miss work. ANY suggestions are appreciated, I have no clue what I should be doing to help myself, its all so brand new.
