Re: LUPRON MONTH 2 STARTINGFrom: Karen (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Jun 29 05:53:01 2001
Paige, quick question here, where in northern Canada are you? I am in Whitehorse. I have just finished six consecutive months of the monthly lupron shots, and had pretty much the same symptoms as you. I found that around month four, they started to subside though. I also started to exercise more and cut meat and dairy out of my diet, so that may have contributed to improvement. I must admit that the insomnia and foggy memory at times were quite frustrating, but nothing to deal with as you say when compared to the loss of endo pain. I would take the side effects of pseud-menopause any day to the endo pain. Currently I am just waiting to have my first menstrual cycle in seven months, so I can let you know how coming off of it is. I also have advanced/aggresive endo, involves my vaginal wall. Had an ovary out and +++ahesions removed, my uterus needed to be detached from my bowel yadda, yadda, yadda. If there is anything that I can do for you let me know. You can totally email me privatley too at : mcnolty@hotmail.com
