Reply: Marcia: "Re: ADENOMYOSIS AND SYMPTOMS....ANYONE???" I am still recovering from Surgery from Dr. R, but some of the pain/discomfort I had before the surgery still remains. My periods are no longer debilitating and I am not stuck on pain killer anymore!! I know the surgery and trip to Bend was well worth it!!! What a terrific doctor :-) I still have that constant uncomfortable pain/discomfort in the mid-pelvic region almost all month long (especially when I sit for long periods of time). It gets worse around mid-cycle. My follow-up doctor says it could be healing pain and to give it 3-4 months (and he is probably correct!), but I don't feel like I am healing anymore. My question is: What are the common symtoms of Adenomyosis? I have read some things on the internet, however I am interested in hearing from you. Thank you!
