To Everyone who has responded!From: Rochelle (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Jun 28 09:06:15 2001
You are all AWESOME! Thank you for responding to me! It feels so good to know there are other women out there who are willing to share there advice, love and support. I was so longing to be part of it. Now I am! Yeh. My Endo story to some might sound so bad. About 7 years ago when I was 22 I was dianosed with Endo when I had a Lap done. I was then put on continous birth control pills (no placebos, which means I didn't get my period..still don't). Up until this year I was pain free. Of course there had been so many times when I wanted to stop taking the pill because I thought it was making it harder for me to lose weight, causing mood swings etc... Anyway, on May 17th of this year, I had another lap. The doctor found no lesions or cysts, just a little endo on my bladder. None on my overies or uterus. Well at least not to the naked eye. Now back to Lupron. My doctor (who is AWESOME, by the way :+) )wants me to take it. But it sounds like suicide to me...You see, I am currently on an anti-depressant. This Lupron could be VERY BAD for me! But then I think, "what if the endo gets worse?" What I had read and agree with is that exercise is GREAT! I rollar bladed Tuesday and I am sore but I felt fantastic. I am also trying to walk 4 times a week. I take as little pain meds as I can (currently I take a combination of Naproxen and Ibuprofen). I also have an appointment with a Pain Management Center on the 3rd of July. Wish me luck. Well thats my story in a nut shell. Thanks again for all of you who have written to me. It means so much. If any of you are interested in emailing privately, please feel free. rochelle.rodrigue1@firstunion.com
