Hi Kim,

I'm sorry that I can't really give much info on this. I just wanted to tell you that I am in my second month of the Depo Lupron shots. I read all the adverse side effects, but decided to try it anyways. It has helped alot with the pain, but I do have the side effects. I have daily headaches, hot flashes that come and go and some times stay for hours, mood swings, I haven't had any significant weight changes (if anything I think I may have lost a couple of pounds), some bouts of naseau. But all in all, I am very happy to be on it. (Well as happy as anyone can be that is in a psuedo menopausal state. LOL) The headaches I can normally get under control and can live with alot easier than all the pain I was in. I now have days that I can go without having to take any pain meds, which is nice!

I'm not saying that Lupron is something everyone should try, because like everything, it works for some and doesn't work for others. You also have to weigh which you would rather have, pain or all the side effects (or maybe none). I am 25 and have not had any children yet so I wasn't even considering having a hysterectomy yet. I had my lap at the end of March and never had any relief from pain, that's why we decided to go this route. Of course I realize this is only my second month of it, so I am no expert, this is just what is going on with me currently. I hope this helps some. Good luck with your doctors appt on Tuesday. Don't let yourself get too worked up, just try to be calm and not dwell on the unkown (I know that can be hard to do). Just my two cents worth. Take care.

Pain free wishes!!!
