Hi Rochelle,

I just wanted to let you know about my expierience with Lupron. I was only on the 3 month dosage and I was on it for 6 months. The first time (I have been on Lupron twice) was really horrible. I didn't have any more pains but I had hot flashes, horrible mood swings, happy one minute and crying the next. It puts a strain on your family and friends as well as on yourself. I can remember my mom crying over something I had said to her and I didn;t even remember saying it but then if someone said something remotely mean to you, you just cry in an instant. On the hand though, if your pain is that bad and your doctor is trying to shrink your lesions some , then Lupron is a good choice. I went from almost having to have a hysterectomy at 17 years old to only having phase 3. The second time I was on it, it was better because I think I knew what to expect and I had to really try and think about everything I said, so I didn't hurt anyone's feelings. I think if you know all these things are going to happen to you, then you can sortof get yourself ready for it. It is really hard to control though. I hope I've helped some. Good Luck!
