Hi Katrina,

I have been on Depo Provera for about 6 years and I haven't had any problems. It has made me gain about 15 pounds over the 6 years but other than that I really like it. I have been on Lupron twice and that gave me some major mood swings so I can understand about not being able to talk with your family. If it is giving you all these problems, there has to something else your doctor can put you on that will make your life alittle easier. There are all kinds of new birth control pills and you could try Lupron (it may not give you any side effects). Good Luck!
