Endo Conquered-After Lupron-QuestionFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netWed Jun 27 06:54:35 2001
First of all-for those who need a shining thought: Endo can be conquered and although Lupron has the yuckiest side effects-it worked for me. I had severe endo plus ovarian cysts. I had to have surgery to remove my cysts (4 months into treatment) and guess what... the endo was not there to be lasered during surgery! So with that said... My shot was the 3 month shot and had the last on March 15th. I read it takes up to 24 weeks for your period to return. When it does I also read that you are fertile again. I had a period in the 24th week, full-flowing, normal as can be (like I was 14 again) and I feel great again-side effects gone. Well, I started the pill and here I am for my period-4 days late! My boyfriend (of 3 years) and I had unprotected sex the day before and the 2 days after I was scheduled to ovulate which we know is only the end of the 1st week of the pill (not realizing it till I counted the calendar yesterday). I have tender breasts, light cramping, thick/white creamy moucus/discharge and have bouts of nausea at night. Anyone out there know someone or has gotten pregnant in the first month of the pill? Or right after Lupron? Thanks a million, Keep your head high
